Wordless Wednesday #1

Several blogs that I like to follow post a really cool photo every Wednesday, such as Marty McGurik's Central Vermont Railway and Chris Adam's The Valley Local. The photo is usually specific to their interest and with no text or story to go along with it, hence the wordless.

In tribute to them and others that started it, I think I'll "borrow" the idea and do it also.

  1. Doood! You gotta let us know these things - I didn't know that you'd paid such a cool compliment and thank you, but I can't take the credit. I stole, er, borrowed the idea from Marty who - I understand - got it from George Dutka (whiteriverjunction). If you'd have told me earlier, I could have come over to visit sooner - what a great blog you've got here! Really looking forward to following along - wishing you all the best!

  2. Wordless Wednesdays seems like such a fun thing for everybody involved so I had to do it also. I'm glad to be the lastest to "borrow" it. Thanks!

  3. Chris,
Just stumbled across this. Yes, I got the idea from George Dutka - it was really a way to get a blog post midweek without the need to spend any time writing or researching that much. It's obviously proven to be quite popular ... what's that old saying, "No good idea goes unstole?" !

    1. Marty, glad to have you stop by. I'm a big fan of your work and blog. Your fall scenes are just gorgeous and always have me considering doing that season as things move forward.

I'm happy I could "borrow" the idea, and I love doing it for the same reasons as you.
