Wordless Wednesday #118

NKP H-6f Mikado 667 at the Pine Valley Roundhouse, Dillonvale, OH 1954.  Note the Wheeling footboard treatment and the white polling pockets. This NKP visitor to the Wheeling District was one of a few Mikados that never had their air pumps moved to the pilot and equipped with sheet metal shields.

    Excellent photo Chris ... love the "angle" of the shot which shows the 105' turntable in the background ... thanks for sharing!! Also thanks for the added info regarding this particular Mikado. Take care.

      Always happy to share this kind of stuff Jim!
      I always wanted to model the 665 (also with air pumps in the original location) or 667 when I was looking to model Cleveland/Bellevue. Looks like I still can :)

    Chris, Do you have any pictures of the entire roundhouse? I don't think I've ever seen one of it anywhere.
