Interesting comparison of the three hoppers, particularly given the different top rail widths, but also the basic black color. I have limited my hopper inventory to Accurail and Athearn since Accurail produces coal loads for those. A bit backwards but... Thanks again,
With the exception of the middle Atlas hopper, the front Athearn and back Accurail cars have the Accurail's coal loads you mention. I covered mine with matte medium and coated them with black decorative sand from the Dollar Tree or Scenic Express's lump coal. The Accurail loads are a great product I need to get a LOT more of.
