Woodshop (Wordless) Wednesday #66
Construction slowly continues. Cutting angles in wood can be hit or miss for me sometimes. That being said, I was pretty proud of the way this joint came together.
Yeah I've often wondered how I can cut two 45's on a DeWalt miter saw and then when I put them together they aren't square. Looks like you hit this one right on the money though.

ReplyDeleteWhat you described is my typical experience when doing trim work on my house. I also have a "good" miter saw, perhaps it's not the tools :)
DeleteYou should be proud of this Chris ... looks like a "true crafstman" @ work!
ReplyDeleteFor an educator the spelling is atrocious ... should be "craftsman" ... now I feel better. Still great work though Chris!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim, glad to see you post for "real"!
DeleteI know I have light years more to accomplish on my layout but I love the small instances when planning and execution work out perfectly.
Inspired by the furniture grade LK&O and B&O Old Main Line benchwork I solider on.
