Very interesting photo Chris. I remember doing a "field trip" there in 1980 and the station was still standing. I wonder if the "mill" was operative in the 1920's? Looks like a part of it showing in the upper right of the picture. Thanks again for sharing!
I agree that's the mill building in the right background. The more I look beyond the Short Creek Valley, the more I get intrigued by what's along the Ohio River. Especially since I came across a rare dispatchers sheet covering a whole day's operation for Brewster to Mingo/Terminal Jct. More on that once I finish scanning and decoding it.
